We created a custom design for Cape Town surfboard manufacturer Dutchie. In the past surfboards were hand painted but through the use of new techniques we were able to have our vector artwork reproduced perfectly onto the board.

We took part in a group show of typographic pieces at Salon91 in Cape Town. The exhibition was themed around custom typography and signage.

We worked with Domino Digital Design Co. to create the illustrations for a role-playing Facebook app called Werewolf.

We hand illustrated this retro bike frame, taking inspiration from African patterns. The custom build was done by the guys at Woodstock Cycleworks in Cape Town.

We worked with Black River FC in Johannesburg to create a booklet for Nando's Peri-Peri Chicken Restaurants. The idea behind the illustrations was to create a series of evolving scenes portrayed around a cuckoo clock. The scenes played with the notion that life was too fast and one should slow down to have an appetiser at a Nando's restaurant. The booklets were supplied to the various chains and contained a CD with more details on the new campaign.

Joburg Liaison commissioned us to create a portrait of Nelson Mandela in an African barber shop style.

The magazine was published to co-inside with Madiba's birthday and the inside spread mapped his life journey in South Africa.

The Hope Factory aims to support previously disadvantaged South Africans in growing their businesses.

The type needed to be clearly visible and bold whilst retaining a sense of being crafted by hand.

This was our submission for #27 of iJusi magazine. The brief was to re-design an old LP cover. We chose Sipho "Hotstix" Mabuse's single Jive Soweto.

We created a series of icons for the 2012 special edition annual of Brownbook, a publication focussing on style and creativity in the Middle East. In the first set, each icon represents a designer and something they are known for. The second set is a series of landmark icons.

We worked with Tribal DDB in Toronto to create this infographic for Canadian Tire. It highlights the benefits of earning points on your Money Advantage card.

We created an artwork and conceptualized a window display for 'The Fringe on Kloof', a Cape Town gallery and shop. This project was a collaboration between us and our friend, ceramic artist Belinda Ormond.

WooThemes did a survey to find out what designers and developers want from WordPress. We used their findings from over 100 000 users to create this infographic.

We created these two illustrations for Migrate, the official magazine of The Loerie Awards. The theme was 'curious'.

The Illville project is an online 'hotel' where artists are given the opportunity to customise a 'room' and share the overall space with other artists for collaboration and networking. This illustration was inspired by the Durban beachfront hotels and Zulu crafts.

A Cape Town group show themed on Norse mythology. This illustration depicts the god Odin and his two crows, Hugin and Munin. A simplified version of this design was printed on limited glassware.
