We created this series of portraits in tribute to three infamous villains of the classic James Bond movies. They are Blofeld, Jaws and Largo. We enjoyed these so much we hope to add to the series soon!

We created a custom design for Cape Town surfboard manufacturer Dutchie. In the past surfboards were hand painted but through the use of new techniques we were able to have our vector artwork reproduced perfectly onto the board.

We took part in a group show of typographic pieces at Salon91 in Cape Town. The exhibition was themed around custom typography and signage.

We created a series of three infographics for Condé Nast Traveller, revealing the stats behind the scenes of a pool boy, cocktail waitress and housekeeper at their respective hotels in Beverly Hills, Las Vegas and Chicago.

We worked with Joseph & Joseph in the UK to create this illustrated worktop saver, inspired by the packaging of vintage sardine tines.

We worked with Fuel Design to create posters for the Wavescape Film Festival and Art Board Exhibition 2012.

In addition we customised a surfboard which was auctioned in New York, with proceeds going to the Hoops for Hopes organisation.

We created a series of icons and illustrations for Agile customer insight.


They analise data from retail business and provides insight into improving consumer offerings.

We worked with Black River FC in Johannesburg to create a booklet for Nando's Peri-Peri Chicken Restaurants.

The idea behind the illustrations was to create a series of evolving scenes portrayed around a cuckoo clock.
The scenes played with the notion that life was too fast and one should slow down to have an appetiser at a Nando's restaurant.

The booklets were supplied to the various chains and contained a CD with more details on the new campaign.

Our winning entry for the Loom X Honest chocolate wrapper competition.

We were asked by Greenhouse to create a series of characters, each representing a stereotypical music genre.

The idea was for these characters to be in agony as they would only hear R'nB on Heart FM.

We also created a wallpaper to suit each character, with icons that reinforced the genre.

The artworks were used as billboards and decals for taxis.

We worked with Openco in Johannesburg to create this typography-based illustration.

Muv-U is a South African community driven, music and style platform. Our illustration traces the origins of Kwaito, a unique local music genre.

The posters were printed A1 with a spot varnish to give a sheen to the 'gold' colour.

We were asked by Marie Claire to do an illustration for their fashion editorial.

A series of typographic headlines and phrases for this non-profit organization.


The Hope Factory aims to support previously disadvantaged South Africans in growing their businesses.

The type needed to be clearly visible and bold whilst retaining a sense of being crafted by hand.

Our submission for #27 of iJusi magazine. The brief was to re-design an old LP cover.

We chose Sipho "Hotstix" Mabuse's single Jive Soweto.

We worked with Just Design in Stellenbosch to create four label illustrations and refine the logo for Devil's Peak, a Cape Town micro brewery.

The brief was to create icons for objects relating to a variety of online purchases. We needed to integrate a smiling face into each of them, keeping the look naive, fun and playful.

We took part in an exhibition curated by Durban-based 'Working Class'.


Artists from South Africa's three main cities, Durban, Johannesburg and Cape Town were asked to create an illustration that speaks about the place they call home. Each group was given a a two colour palette to work with and the posters were silkscreened in a limited edition of 30, with 10 made available for the shows in each city.

We were invited to create an illustration as a pull-out poster in Where It's At, a Design Indaba publication exposing talent and creativity in South Africa.

We decided to illustrate a phrase taken from the classic Dr Alban track 'Hello Africa".

Where It's At was curated by Richard Hart of Disturbance.

This project was a collaboration between us and our friend, ceramic artist Belinda Ormond.

We created an artwork and conceptualized a window display for 'The Fringe On Kloof', a Cape Town gallery and shop that stocks prints, ceramic art and jewellery from local artists. (www.thefringearts.co.za). Prints are for sale at the shop.

We created this illustration for fashion brand Fabiani.

We exhibited these prints at a group show at Salon91.

We teamed up with We-are-awesome to customise these toy Camels.

Our customised room for the Illville Hotel, an online meeting place for artists and Illustrators to collaborate and network.

The illustration was inspired by the Durban beachfront hotels and Zulu crafts.
