We created a custom design for Cape Town surfboard manufacturer Dutchie. In the past surfboards were hand painted but through the use of new techniques we were able to have our vector artwork reproduced perfectly onto the board.

We took part in a group show of typographic pieces at Salon91 in Cape Town. The exhibition was themed around custom typography and signage.

We worked with Domino Digital Design Co. to create the illustrations for a role-playing Facebook app called Werewolf.

We hand illustrated this retro bike frame, taking inspiration from African patterns. The custom build was done by the guys at Woodstock Cycleworks in Cape Town.

We worked with Black River FC in Johannesburg to create a booklet for Nando's Peri-Peri Chicken Restaurants. The idea behind the illustrations was to create a series of evolving scenes portrayed around a cuckoo clock. The scenes played with the notion that life was too fast and one should slow down to have an appetiser at a Nando's restaurant. The booklets were supplied to the various chains and contained a CD with more details on the new campaign.

We were asked by Greenhouse to create a series of characters, each representing a stereotypical music genre. The idea was for these characters to be in agony as they would only hear R'nB on Heart FM. We also created a wallpaper to suit each character, with icons that reinforced the genre. The artworks were used as billboards and decals for taxis.

We worked with Openco in Johannesburg to create a typography-based illustration for Muv-U, a South African community driven, music and style platform. Our illustration traces the origins of Kwaito, a unique local music genre.

The posters were printed A1 with a spot varnish to give a sheen to the 'gold' colour.

Combining elements from South African tribal culture and referencing religious icons, we came up with our version of an "African Madonna".

We worked with Just Design in Stellenbosch to create four label illustrations and refine the logo for Devil's Peak, a Cape Town micro brewery.

Some pitch illustrations we created for PayPal in Australia. The brief was to create icons for objects relating to a variety of online purchases. We needed to integrate a smiling face into each of them, keeping the look naive, fun and playful.

We came up with this illustration for some tote bags we've produced. It's based on some of the birds you find in our South African cities.

We created two Eastern-inspired murals for the WooThemes offices. We've included some of our initial concepts we pitched and then the final illustrations which we painted over a few days.

We created this illustration for fashion brand Fabiani.

Twofold, a UK based magazine asked us to make an illustration for their first issue. We decided to make it about one of our favorite South African pastimes: braaing or shisa nyama. Otherwise known as a barbeque to the rest of the world.

We took part in an exhibition bringing art to the streets.


Big paste-ups of the artworks were placed in the city and Khayelitsha. Take a look at the video of the event to see some of what went down.

One of five finalists in the Southern Comfort Creative Exchange competition. The theme was to create an illustration which captured the spirit of Mardis Gras and New Orleans.
